The Power of Tourmaline Jewelry

Pink tourmaline is an aphrodisiac.

Yes, you heard that right. How can a stone stimulate a little lovin?

By attracting a safe and trusting kind of love and a reminder that you must love yourself before you can be loved by others. Because nothing is sexier than feeling confident and secure in yourself and that shines through. (amazing how much power is embedded in gemstones, right?!)

Tourmaline is also the October birthstone.

Tourmaline comes in a range of colors that will brighten your day. (I'm fairly convinced color fixes everything these days, especially as we enter Seattle's grey season.) I mainly use pink, green, seafoam, and watermelon varieties in my work, like the pink tourmaline in the Strength Droplet Necklace and Tiny Succulent Earrings above and the seafoam gem in the one of a kind, Compassion Strength Necklace below.

Tourmaline helps stimulate gentleness and self compassion. So quit beating yourself up for skipping this morning's workout and having ice cream for dinner. Throw on a tourmaline necklace so it's close to your heart and helps calm your soul with a reminder that tomorrow is a new day and different decisions will be made.

And if you throw in some diamonds (like the piece above and below), you really amplify their powers with added clarity and purpose.

Green tourmaline promotes openness and patience while stimulating prosperity and abundance.

Oh, and green tourmaline also helps facilitate weight loss, so if you're still reeling from that ice cream dinner we talked about above, this ring will help you get back on the right track, especially since tourmaline is also known to help with digestive issues.

The one of a kind Strength Rock Ring and Necklace shown above are both excellent examples of green tourmaline in action. Technically, these both include seafoam tourmaline, a gorgeous shade that has a hint of blue, but I think the healing properties still relate.

Lastly, let's talk about the watermelon variety.

This fascinating multi-colored gem regenerates nerves and helps alleviate depression and fear. It's warm inside is a reflection of your inner security, while the green outer shell helps you find joy in relationships - a lovely balance of connection to self and others.

I recently came across these delicious ovoid shaped watermelon tourmaline and have a unique idea for them I can't wait to get started on.

But tell me, would you rather have them as a ring or necklace??
