2023 Gratitude Giveaway - Pearl Edition

2 min read 12 Comments

**UPDATE... Congrats to Emily J from Ohio who won the earrings! I appreciated reading your comments - hearing about your gratitude reminds me there is much good in the world. Thank you!

It's that time of year...

Time to reflect on everyone and everything we're grateful for.

I am grateful for my supportive and loving family and friends, my weekly booty camp crew, my hiking buddies, and of course, my boyfriend, who smothers me in hugs and humor.

But I am especially grateful for YOU! I feel lucky every day I get to spend in the studio, experimenting with materials, exploring new ideas, and creating art. But if it weren't for you, this work would just while away the time stuck in boxes on shelves.

I look forward to sharing new work with you and appreciate all your support through comments, social sharing, and purchases.

This time of year, instead of black friday shopping chaos, I like to focus on generosity and kindheartedness. So, instead of a sale, I'm giving away a pair of earrings.

This holiday season I'm obsessed with pearls and have been making a variety of new new necklaces incorporating unusual baroque pearls. (more on those soon!)

Since I have pearls on the brain (and on the bench), I'm giving away a pair of Perfect Pearl Earrings

sterling silver and white fresh water pearls dangle earring

In solid sterling silver and white fresh water pearls, these earrings are a delight. They go with just about every outfit, are light and easy to wear all day, and look charming.

If you win and they aren't right for you, they make an elegant and wonderful gift for your favorite jewelry lover.

What are you grateful for?!

Share in the comments below and be entered to win these pearl earrings.

Enter by Sunday, November 26th.

ha! I kept meaning to do this and have missed the deadline which is par for the course! But wanted to share what I’m grateful for anyway. I’m grateful for the people in my life. First my man who supports me, builds me up emotionally, challenges me and loves me unconditionally. Also for my kids who feed my soul, make me laugh, and challenge me in different ways. Finally for my friendships- old and new! My old friends who have seen me through hard times and have cheered me on, new friends who are exciting, fun and creative, my hiking buddies like Catherine who take me to beautiful places, and my bootie camp gals who drive me and inspire me each week- which also includes Catherine and her smiling face :)

I am grateful for my husband whose love has sustained me for nearly 45 years. I am grateful for our children and grandchildren, extended family, and dear friends.

I am grateful for Art in all of its manifestations: literature, music, painting, sculpture, dance, performance art, architecture, design, fashion, and of course, jewelry.

extremely grateful to have been around Catherine long enough to have witnessed her slowly, and then explosively, manifesting her dream…much tot he benefit of all of us.

I’m grateful for every day I get to enjoy spending with my mom, who has always been a dear friend and co-conspirator. She’s also been an inspiration and an influence, getting a BFA in Art at the UW when I was in middle school, traveling, gardening, making and putting love into the world. I’d choose her even if we weren’t related.

I recently attended the funerals of my friend’s parents who died within a month of each other. While a sad occasion I was reminded of the power of connecting, caring and showing up. I am grateful for being reminded of what really masters. I vow to show up and be present for my family and friends and those in need.

This year, I’m grateful for so many things. My health, family, and creativity. I’m trying to hold these things close to me as everything outside of this home feels out of control. I hope you have a good Thanksgiving. Thanks you for reminding me to take a moment to reflect.
