I purchased these earrings along with the matching Double Pod Necklace. The earrings can certainly be worn on their own, but if you're buying one of the Pod necklaces, you need the matching earrings as the necklace and earrings together make a beautiful set. Catherine's work is exquisite and these earrings are no exception.
This is the third necklace I've purchased from Catherine and I love it as much as I love the other two. The clean simple lines of this necklace remind me of Craftsman or Art Deco pieces, but instead of having straight lines, it has wonderful feminine curves. And I love the asymmetry and horizontal line created by having two pods - one small, one larger. It's a lovely, elegant piece!

I've admired this necklace for a very long time! I think it was actually the necklace that first attracted me to Catherine's work. And now I have it along with a gorgeous set of earrings that Catherine made especially to go with the necklace! I purchased the gold vermeil necklace with the oxidized silver chain and gray and peacock pearls. The swoop of the curved piece is very dramatic and makes a beautiful contrast to the sweet pearls. Catherine's vision and work is first-rate and gorgeous and it makes me so happy to just hold and look at this necklace. As John Keats said, "A thing of beauty is a joy forever."
The necklace is so pretty, I like wearing the flower/diamond side out & the rock part next to my neck to give me strength. It is beautiful & lightweight.
