Thanks for your interest in my art. I am Catherine Grisez (pronounced Gre-zay), owner and artist behind CG Sculpture and Jewelry.

I create metal art to capture our innate desire for connection, using imagery inspired by nature.

And sometimes, just because it brings joy.
My first art class was at age 5 and I haven’t stopped since. I love making things and thank my lucky stars on a regular basis that I get to do what I do – inventing and creating with my hands. I'm the daughter of a 4th generation home builder so I guess you could say it's in my blood.
With a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design, multiple awards and publications, and a 20+ year history of solo and group exhibitions, I’m proud to have my work in private collections nationwide.
Where there are trees, rocks, or birds, I see wisdom, strength, or joy.
And channel that into art.
What starts with a walk on the beach or up a mountain, ends with a bursting copper sculpture or detailed silver and gold necklace.
I’ve hitchhiked through the Sahara dessert and walked from Maine to New York. You could say I’m an adventurous spirit and like to keep life interesting.
You can buy a standard diamond pendant at any big box store, but I have a hunch you aren’t very mainstream either.
I make art for people like you - unique sculpture and jewelry to break up the mundane routine that life can be. Beautiful objects, yes, but also conceptual ideas that spark thought and conversation.
After unique design, quality and longevity are my top priority.
Trained in the German tradition of perfection, I work hard to ensure everything I make will last for lifetimes.
I seek out sustainable and ethical materials, like fair-mined gemstones and recycled metal and diamonds. I want to leave the world a beautiful place for my nieces and nephews.
