In celebration of Women’s History Month, we’re featuring 6 amazing women each week. These women are trailblazers, activists, adventurers, advocates for love, defenders of the environment and nature, and warriors for equal rights. While we’ve split them up into 5 different categories, they blur the lines and cross boundaries in their accomplishments.
This is in no way an exhaustive list as we could list thousands. But a mere dusting of the surface in appreciation of the many women throughout history and current day who have made a difference in our world.
These women are promoters of peace, advocates for love, and teachers of kindness.

Jane Addams - Founder of the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom - worked to get great powers to disarm during WW1, and fought to end child labor in the United States
Oprah Winfrey - kick ass human. Brings self-improvement, mindfulness, and spirituality to the masses
Emma Gonzalez - school shooting survivor who co-founded Never Again, a powerful grassroots gun reform movement.
Mother Teresa - helped the poorest of the poor with devotion
Dorothy Cotton - civil rights activist who taught nonviolence for social change
Judy Grisez - best direct example of unconditional love, generosity, and fun (also, my mom. : )
