Hollow formed and fabricated music box using ancient metalsmithing techniques. Interior backgrounds are coated with blue resin. Overlapping copper pattern transitions from nearly open (exposing much blue) on one end to nearly filled (hardly allowing blue through) on the other end. Moveable knobs are turned in each opening to wind music mechanisms. Songs play when ends are removed, silent when closed.
