Copper and vitreous enamel
14.5” x 10.5” x 10.5”
Hammered from a single copper hollow form inset with vitreous enamel shapes.
Bound by an invisible string, akin to emotions or thoughts that keep us stuck, metal bulges against the tension. Despite the imperceptible barrier, a lightness begins to escape. We are contradictions in our need for connection and a desire to be free. Color inspired by the lightness of clouds in the sky, while the rest of the form references skin bound in rope.
