Happy Thanksgiving! A gift for you...

1 min read 15 Comments

In this season of gratitude I’m giving thanks for many things - family, friends, joy in being creative, beautiful places to embrace nature, and of course all the support and love I’ve felt from you over the years. It’s easy to lose self-esteem and have growing doubts when spending a lot of time alone in the studio - your words of encouragement and purchases of my work mean the world to me and remind me that my artistic contributions to the world mean something.

As a token of my appreciation I’m giving away a piece of jewelry AND a Bitty Bowl. My way of celebrating Black Friday is to GIVE.

What are you thankful for?

I’m grateful for having friends and family that loves me. It’s a small group for sure, but thankful nevertheless for each and every one. I work near the county hospital and see so many forgotten, ignored, and unloved people walking around. It’s easy to forget that so many do not have the support system of loving friends and family and how much harder life is without it.

While both are beautiful, I love the bowl.

I have been working at an AIDS hospice for about 4 months now, and have so much to be grateful for. I am thankful for the incredible people I have met, the opportunity to care for someone and to accompany them as they are dying, and to have so many new memories of life with diverse and beautiful people. I feel so much love and joy that I didn’t know that I could! As an artist, there are so many new thoughts, memories, and feelings that I have to engage in my work. I’m grateful for all of this and can’t wait for what the rest of my life might offer me.

The earrings!!!

I’m grateful for a body that works generally as it should, with minimal pain and discomfort, to provide many options for work, play and exploration.

I’d love a bitty bowl made by one of my favorite hiking partners. I look forward to getting on the trail with you again soon. Enjoy the weekend show.

I’m grateful for my life which I’ve had to fight for. I’m thankful for my daughter and her extremely kind heart. I’m also thankful for my husband who goes to work everyday so I can be creative and take care of our daughter.

I love both the earrings and the bowl! I would have to go with the bowl. The color!!!

I’m grateful for my family, for this year’s learnings, for unconditional love in my life and for my ancestors, who gave me the strength and wisdom needed to be here today.

So very thankful for each and everyday day. And I feel blessed to have such a wonderful and artistic community. The color of that bowl is like a brilliant teal sapphire and PNW waters; what color!

I am so thankful to have the opportunity to be able to follow my creative interests and to be surrounded by so many inspiring, loving people in my life. And you know how addicted I am to your bowls, so that’s obviously my choice. ? Hehe

There is so much to be grateful for but I must confess that sometimes, during times like these, it’s hard to remember to be grateful. I think I’m most grateful for being able to look outside and see beautiful trees, birds, and all the lush nature that makes our home here in the PNW so special.

I’m grateful for my beloved, my daughter, my father … to have a warm comfortable home … for dance, for art, for theater … and grateful that cats purr.
