Women who make history - Adventurers, Trailblazers, Record breakers

1 min read

In celebration of Women’s History Month, we’re featuring 6 amazing women each week. These women are trailblazers, activists, adventurers, advocates for love, defenders of the environment and nature, and warriors for equal rights. While we’ve split them up into 5 different categories, they blur the lines and cross boundaries in their accomplishments.

This is in no way an exhaustive list as we could list thousands. But a mere dusting of the surface in appreciation of the many women throughout history and current day who have made a difference in our world.

women in history-adventures, trailblazers, record breakers

These women inspire us to travel the world and learn from other cultures, push our physical limits and emanate strength.

Amelia Earhart - adventurer who inspires us to push boundaries

Nellie Bly - 19th century investigative reporter who had herself checked into an insane asylum to report on horrifying conditions and was the first to travel around the world in 72 days

Valentina Tereshkova - astronaut who was the first woman in space

Mary Kinglsey - explorer who championed the rights of indigenous people

Isabella Bird - 19th century explorer, writer, photographer, and naturalist

Thank you ladies for making the world a better place!
